To create a new level go to 'File'->'New' (or press Ctrl+N).



Select the width of your new level, a width of 1 means 1 tile (30x30 pixel).



1:
The toolbar with the three different modes: Paint, Erase, Select
And the 'Load Level to Game', which starts the game and loads the level you're designing.

The browser of all objects in the level.

3:
The property browser which shows the editable properties of the selected object.

4:
The area to draw the level, the grid in this map is the same as in the game. Every object placed on this map will be at the same position in the game.

Mode for drawing the tiles as a tile or as an elevator.


Draw objects

To draw an object, a tile or an enemy make sure you are in the 'Paint-Mode'. Then select it in the box and move with the mouse the the corresponding square in the grid of the map and press the left mouse button. To draw more than one you can drag the mouse around while pressing the left mouse button again. Easy, isn't it?



Remove objects

To remove an object, a tile or an enemy from the map make sure you are in the 'Erase-Mode'. Then move with the mouse the corresponding square in the grid of the map and press the left mouse button. To remove more than one you can drag the mouse around while pressing the left mouse button again.

Select objects

To select an object, a tile or an enemy make sure you are in the 'Select-Mode'. Then select move the mouse to the corresponding square in the grid of the map and press the left mouse button. In the left corner of the editor window you will find the 'Properties-Browser'. There you can see all available properties of the object you have selected. Sometimes the editor does not get the selected object. If this happens (sorry, the whole thin is still intesting) click on an empty square on the map and select your object again.
